This is the first of the planned series of reporting maps with description of the objects studied. It has 50 targets and it is just a tiny part of the discovered ships. Just to say that the bottom of the Gulf of Finland is sown with wrecks shall mean to say nothing. Unfortunately for us (or fortunately?) there are so many discoveries that we just do not manage to explore all of them in one expeditionary season and the number of targets in the waiting list is increasing several times quicker than the list of the wrecks already identified and prepared to be entered into the register and the map. The objects for study will be sufficient for hundreds of historians and archeologists from all the European countries. And may be soon there will come the time when the list of wrecks will be larger than the number of historians and archeologists taken together.
